Pico Rivera wins 2026 SCAG Sustainability Award for Climate Leadership

Congratulations to the City of Pico Rivera for winning the 2026 Southern California Association of Governments (SCAG) Sustainability Award for Climate Leadership! The award highlights the City’s early implementation of the Climate Action and Adaptation Plan (CAAP) and its work to improve community health and resilience.

The SCAG Sustainability Awards recognize cities with strong efforts to build sustainable and more prosperous communities. This recognition is especially significant as SCAG represents 191 cities and 6 counties across Southern California, including Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, Ventura, and Imperial counties, placing Pico Rivera among the leading cities in sustainability across Southern California.
