LARC Celebrates Earth Month
In April 2025, the LARC team celebrated Earth Month by tabling at three Earth Day events throughout our community.
We spread awareness about the risks of extreme heat at the Culver City Unified School District Earth Fest, City of Pico Rivera Earth Day Fair, and the City of Burbank Earth Day Petal Party in the Park. Using an interactive map, we discussed with community members about what extreme heat looks like across different regions of Los Angeles. For immediate heat relief, we set out paper fans for people to decorate and use.
