Heat and Homelessness

People without stable housing are at much higher risk of developing a heat-related illness because living outdoors limits access to shade, water, and cooling.

Unhoused individuals and those facing housing insecurity are at high risk for heat-related illness, dehydration, and overexposure to sunlight and heat. Whether or not you are facing this or want to offer your support, we all can take steps toward creating a more heat-safe community for everyone.
