CalHeatScore Informational Webinar

Please join us for the first webinar in a series of six that will focus on the newly released CalHeatScore tool. This webinar will cover the history of CalHeatScore, provide examples of how the tool can be used now, and include an overview of the Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment's public engagement process.

This series is a partnership effort between the Office of Enviornmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA), the Governor's Office of Land Use and Climate Innovation (LCI), and the Los Angeles Regional Collaborative for Climate Action and Sustainability (LARC).

In this workshop, researchers from the University of California, Irvine presented an update on their project that simulates three county-wide flood risk adaptation strategies: (a) raising levees, (b) widening channels, and (c) capturing additional stormwater with more green infrastructure and parks.
