The Governor’s Office of Land Use and Climate Innovation (LCI) is excited to announce the upcoming release of the Vulnerable Communities Platform (VCP) — a powerful new tool to support climate resilience planning across California.  

The VCP will help people see how climate change related extreme heat, flooding, sea level rise, drought and wildfire are expected to affect California communities and get connected to resources and expert guidance to assist in building resiliency. Agencies can use the VCP to identify communities that are most vulnerable to the impacts of climate change to inform outreach and funding strategies.
