Participants will explore SCAG’s new SoCal Community Transportation Safety Modeling Tool, an interactive visualization tool that supports collision risk assessment, crash modeling, and safety planning at the Tier II Traffic Analysis Zone level. The tool enables planners and decision-makers to proactively evaluate the safety impacts of potential land use changes, and adjust designs to potentially reduce traffic-related fatalities and serious injuries before finalizing major decisions.
