LARC accepts new supporters throughout the year. Our Supporter levels were developed to make joining affordable. If the cost is an issue, please let us know when you fill out the form below.

Benefits of Supporting LARC

As a supporter, you make the following possible:

  • REGIONAL NETWORK MEETINGS:

    • Bi-monthly Network Meetings serve as a forum for representatives from local and regional governments, environmental justice organizations, utilities, and academia to share new approaches, troubleshoot challenging topics, and build relationships with peers.
      Supporters are recognized at events and logos are included in promotional emails.

  • KNOWLEDGE EXCHANGE:

    • Access cutting-edge and locally relevant climate initiatives and best practices in policy development.

    • Contribute content to LARC’s monthly newsletter, which contains events, resources, and grant opportunities specific to the Los Angeles region and has more than 1,800 subscribers.
      Supporters’ logos are included in monthly newsletter

    • Supporter Listserv and Slack Workspace: Network Supporters have direct email and Slack access to 150 other climate practitioners in the LA region to exchange news, information, and advice.

  • FUNDING SUPPORT:

    • Individualized support in bringing together cross-jurisdictional and cross-sector teams to apply for State, Federal, and philanthropic funding.

  • Alliance of Regional Collaboratives for Climate Adaptation (ARCCA):

    • Participate in ARCCA meetings with members of the other CA regional climate collaboratives and representatives from state agencies.

    • Provide input to the State on new policies, funding programs, regulations, draft reports, etc.

    • Participate in statewide funding proposals.

  • STATE POLICY ENGAGEMENT:

    • Join the Adaptation Policy Working Group (APWG), an informal working group facilitated by ARCCA, which meets monthly to share information about pending State legislation and discuss policy priorities.

    • Network Supporters enable LARC to hire a LARC Legislative Intern to update ARCCA’s Legislative tracker, which tracks CA climate adaptation legislation.
